If we can’t personally get a task done, we’ll contract it out to ensure it gets done. About Us
Hi there, we are Tammy and Robert Veitch, and we are excited to welcome you to Veitch Management Ventures.
With over 25 years in the North Thompson, 23 years together, and a wedding at a local fishing resort in 2023, we truly believe in the importance of family and love our local community.
I have over 23 years of experience in the tourism industry, having worked in various capacities, including property management and operational oversight. In 2024 I completed my Administrative Certificate with Okanagan College enhancing my skill set. My husband, Rob, compliments my expertise with a diverse background in cybersecurity, heavy machine operations and union representation, which allows us to integrate innovative technology solutions while maintaining strong team dynamics. To ensure continuous improvement, I will prioritize ongoing professional development through workshops, industry conferences and training programs. We will also seek mentorship opportunities and stay up to date with industry trends.
Rob has been around even longer after moving from Ontario as a child. Rob has a diverse background as a class one truck driver and a union representative and even had his foot in local politics before transitioning into cybersecurity, where he loves having the ability to work from anywhere. While my journey began in Bella Coola, where my family ran The Bailey Bridge Campsite through my highschool years. Moving to Barriere in 2000 led to my working in property management in Sun Peak BC. In 2024, I completed my Administrative Assistant Certificate through Okanagan College.
We are proud to be trusted members of our community, known for our strong community ties and commitment to local growth. Our current role at Meadow Lake Fishing Camp, Little Fort BC, is a testament to our resilience and dedication. We have won the hearts of guests who have been dedicated visitors to the camp for 20, 30, even 40 years and plan to keep impressing them and setting a standard to be upheld.
